TLDR: To maximize your potential gold rewards you should
like and comment posts with content that you think provide interesting and exciting content
provide high-quality and interesting content on gm.app
⚠️ We measure social contribution in 24 hour timeframes. If you are not active within it, you don't qualify for the daily gold distribution.
To further strengthen the social aspects of gm.app we introduce the social boost feature.
Among other criteria, we are distributing Blast Gold based on upvotes which reflect your social activity and interactions on .
You can both receive and distribute upvotes on a daily basis.
Every gm.app community member has a varying amount of additional upvotes based on different multipliers:
2 votes per collection that you hold a pass of (capped to 10 votes)
1 vote per gm.app name that you hold (capped to 5 votes)
It takes one day after buying passes and names to receive upvotes. You don't receive them immediately.
Upvotes can be distributed by liking (upvoting) posts and comments in both the public and private feed.
We have different control mechanisms in place that reduce sybill attacks, so don't try to game our social system.
95% of the gold is distributed among community members. 47.5% is distributed for giving upvotes, so liking posts and comments, and 47.5% is distributed for receiving upvotes on posts and comments you make.
The other 5% go to creators (see below).
As a creator you should profit if your community is socially active and contributes to the gm family! The more gold your holders earn, the more gold you get.
For now the creator share is set to 5% of the gold your holders earn.
So get your community into gm.app and encourage them to be active and create high quality content!
You may be wondering: Does this system harm high priced collection on gm.app due to their lower accessibility?
Our system will take care of this via internal multipliers used to level the playing field.
Communities that create high interest and demand for their passes, and thus create community collections with high market caps and prices, should be rewarded for their success.
But keep in mind: gm is a social platform. The best way to be successful in the gm ecosystem is to bring your community and encourage them to positively and actively contribute to the gm family! Use gm to grow your community pass holders and to cross-connect with other communities.
gm.app is not a zero sum game, but instead strives to be a social platform that profits the entirety of the Blast community.
Yes! We constantly monitor the social activity and our goal is to make gm a place where communities exchange meaningful content.
The current system is a V1 and we will iterate on the rules on daily basis and will launch new features that will be taken into account.
Don't build up complex sybil systems, it's nearly save that you won't be able to keep up.
